Tip · how to clean glass without streaks
Clean Glass Without Leaving a Film
Streaky glass is almost always a matter of residue rather than dirt. Over time, product build-up leaves an invisible film that catches the light and smears. The fix is to use minimal, residue-free cleaner and, crucially, to finish with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth — never a fresh spray on top of old residue. Work in changing light so you can see what you are missing, and change your cloth before it becomes damp and starts redistributing film. Glass finished this way disappears entirely, which is exactly the point. For homes defined by glass, our penthouse maintenance guide goes further.
